Sand To Glass by Remy Apepp

Hey everyone! It took me longer than I expected to write another review but that’s alright. I am back with a book review for you all. This book is the first in the Tales of Mythusian Empire.

Sand to glass is a story about a kingdom that has to battle against forces out of their control. It’s clear from the start that the fate of the kingdom depends on the four children of King Agamenjiyr. The story isn’t stagnant and prompts you to keep turning the pages.

What I love about the story

The characters are well written. In fact, it’s the characters that make the story worth reading. The author has done a brilliant job of showing us the inner turmoil and intense emotions felt by the main characters. The bond between the siblings is interesting to say the least. Each character has a specific role to play and the manner in which they realize that is riveting to read. In my opinion, the Crown Prince Diyomendon steals the show.

What I dislike about the story

The fourth child, Prince Rezekyrios, is a complete puzzle. The readers will have difficulty in understanding his emotions and personality. It isn’t until his transformation into someone who can help the kingdom, we have a better chance to figure out his bizarre personality. Of all the characters, Rezekyrios’ life made me sad.

Rating: This story deserves a 3.7 out of 5
